There were no injuries in a fire that broke out in a building on the Texas A&M campus in College Station, but part of the roof and the third floor were damaged.
The fire took place at the Zachry Engineering Building and was mostly contained in the men’s restroom. Classes were canceled Monday night, but the building was reopened on Tuesday morning.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation at this time, but more than 2,000 students, faculty and staff were evacuated from the area. The damage estimate is also not available at this time.
